[ABOUT}

Timo is a composer working across film and television, creating expansive, emotionally driven scores shaped by tension, texture, and scale.

His work blends melodic writing with transformed source material — field recordings, live performance, and electronic processing — forming a distinctive, hand-crafted sonic language.

From intimate solo instrumentation to full orchestral force, he moves fluidly between restraint and intensity, supported by a trusted production team capable of delivering at any scale.

He collaborates closely with directors and producers on scores shaped by character, pacing, and dramatic pressure — music designed to deepen atmosphere and sharpen cinematic weight.

A former major-label alt-rock artist, Timo began his career in the 1990s and 2000s as a guitarist and vocalist, touring internationally with acts including The Prodigy and Feeder.

That background continues to inform his scoring work: an instinct for energy, risk, and control in equal measure, and a deeply embedded sense of performance and dynamics.

Over more than three decades, he has built a body of work spanning film, television, and games, composing for international studios and broadcasters including Universal Pictures, Sega, Netflix, Disney+, CBS, and the BBC.

Based between the UK and his studio in the French Alps — The Storm Room — Timo continues to develop cinematic scores for film and drama production.

The result is music with intent: atmospheric, precise, and unmistakably his.
