[ABOUT}
Timo is a composer for film and television, creating scores shaped by tension, atmosphere, and controlled intensity.
Blending orchestral writing with manipulated source material - field recordings, degraded textures, live performance, and electronic processing - his work carries a tactile, hand-built quality: cinematic, physical, and charged with friction.
Equally at home with intimate instrumentation or full orchestral scale, he moves instinctively between restraint and impact, supported by his trusted production team capable of delivering at any level without losing nuance.
Working closely with directors and producers, Timo builds music around character, pacing, and dramatic pressure - scores designed not simply to support picture, but to leave a mark on it.
A former major-label alt-rock artist, Timo began his career in the 1990s and 2000s as a guitarist and vocalist, touring internationally with acts including The Prodigy and Feeder.
That background continues to inform his scoring work: an instinct for energy, risk, and control in equal measure, and a deeply embedded sense of performance and dynamics.
The result is music with intent: atmospheric, precise, and unmistakably his.
Over more than three decades, he has built a body of work spanning film, television, and games, composing for international studios and broadcasters including Universal, Sega, Netflix, Disney+, CBS, and the BBC.
He splits his time between the UK and his studio in the French Alps - The Storm Room.
